BLUNOMY BRIEF - MARCH 2026
How is a major bank reinventing its model for the transition?
Hacina Py, Chief Sustainability Officer at Societe Generale, shares the story of a radical transformation: training thousands of employees, ambitious decarbonisation targets (including an 80% reduction in oil and gas exposure), and co-creating solutions with clients.
Discover how Societe Generale and Blunomy developed innovative tools and business solutions to turn climate challenges into business opportunities, and why the transition is no longer the responsibility of a few experts, but of the entire organisation.
TRANSITION PERSPECTIVES
Financing the climate transition: where do we stand and how can we accelerate today?
The climate transition has become a strategic priority for companies, investors and financial institutions. Yet a structural imbalance remains: while climate mitigation finance has made significant progress, adaptation financing still falls far short of what is needed. These issues were discussed by Ines Galichon, Partner and Financial Institutions lead at Blunomy, at the Climate Risk & Climate Stress Testing Europe – CEF PRO event.
How is the energy transition transforming real estate
Compliance is no longer a competitive advantage in real estate, it's the price of entry. In this publication, our experts break down five value creation levers that turn energy transition from a cost into a strategic asset.
How to reconnect ESG with value creation?
This position paper sets out an ESG framework and operational approach to help investors and decision-makers reconnect sustainability with performance, showing how ESG can concretely drive growth, profitability, resilience, and improved access to capital in private equity.

SUCCESS STORIES
France | Circularity | Bioenergy
Blunomy supports circular economy investment in France♻️
Blunomy supported Meanings Capital Partners in its majority investment in Moulinot by conducting strategic and impact due diligence. Our team analysed the biowaste market, assessed Moulinot’s asset base and strategic positioning, and evaluated its circular business model, which transforms organic waste into renewable energy and natural fertilisers. This work contributes to accelerating circular economy solutions and the environmental transition in France.

Blunomy supports energy transition investments in Italy⚡
Blunomy supported Alba Infra Partners in the launch of MFMC II, an energy efficiency platform developed with Rekeep, by conducting ESG due diligence. Our team assessed additional revenue opportunities, analysed investment and operating costs in line with the European Taxonomy, and evaluated climate-related risks to inform adaptation strategies. The platform will finance energy efficiency projects across Italy, supporting the decarbonisation of essential infrastructure.

PUBLICATION
Industrial decarbonisation is both a major challenge and a powerful lever for competitiveness.
Blunomy contributed to a new study conducted for ALLICE on the non-energy benefits (NEBs) of energy efficiency investments in European industry. The report demonstrates that beyond energy savings and CO₂ reductions, such investments generate significant operational, financial and strategic gains, from lower maintenance costs to improved productivity and reduced operational risks.

NEWSROOM
In L’Opinion | AMRAE 2026
At AMRAE, Isabelle Kocher de Leyritz, Co-founder and Chair of Blunomy, shares a strong conviction:
in a world undergoing profound transformation, companies must develop a clear vision of the future and manage from that future, rather than simply reacting to the present.
A key shift in perspective as climate and broader transitions reshape risks and investment opportunities across the entire economy.
